System Requirements

Gateway environment: Permission to run the installed module.

Storage: Persistent local storage suitable for module audit information and optional archive output.

Disk capacity: Sufficient capacity for the organization's configured retention and archive policy.

Network/DNS: Required only when external report or notification delivery is enabled.

Gateway resources: Access to any Gateway user sources and email profiles used by the configured workflows.

Required Ignition modules: Perspective and Event Stream modules. Verify that the target Gateway satisfies module dependency checks during installation.
Ignition Edge not supported
Java Compatibility
The module is built to a Java 17 target. Administrators normally use the Java runtime supplied and supported by their Ignition Gateway deployment.
Optional Integrations
Depending on administrator configuration, Security Auditor can use:

Existing Ignition email profiles.

Approved HTTP(S) reporting or notification destinations.

Approved WS(S) reporting or notification destinations.

Approved FTP reporting destinations.
Use secure transport where available and apply organization-approved outbound firewall and destination controls.
External Dependencies
Security Auditor includes module-local data storage and archive capability. It does not require an external database, device driver, OPC server, tag provider, cloud service, or separate application server for its core functionality.
