Installation & Setup
To be done once per gateway
1. Install and License the Ignition module
Download the .modl file from the portal, upload it to the Ignition Gateway via Config > Modules, and activate your license keys.
2. Configure the Firmware Strategy
Enable automatic background downloads or manually drop the firmware deployment archive into the module's data directory.
To be done once per factoryTouch
1. Prepare the Physical Site and Mount the Unit
Verify that a 100–240VAC power source and an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet drop are available before securing the terminal to a heavy-duty VESA mount.
2. Connect Cable Interfaces and Power On
Run the locking power cable behind the rear plate, plug in the network line, and toggle the physical button on the right-rear side to boot the device.
3. Complete the Wizard and Validate Peripherals
Follow the 2-minute on-screen commissioning wizard to pair the terminal with your gateway.
4. Launch your applications
Vision launcher or Perspective launcher are already pre-configured allowing you to start any application immediately.
