1. Site Prerequisites
-
Power: Ensure a standard 100–240VAC (50–60Hz) power outlet is available near the installation site to support the external 180W universal power adapter brick.
-
Network: Run a dedicated RJ45 copper network cable connected to a local Gigabit network switch (1 Gbps capability).
-
Mounting Interface: Verify your mounting apparatus (wall mount, articulating arm, or proprietary stand) utilizes a standard VESA FDMI-compliant four-hole pattern with M4 screws in a 100x100 mm pattern.
2. Unboxing & Inspection
-
Carefully unpack the kit and verify the presence of the FactoryTouch unit, the 180W power adapter brick, regional power cords, and VESA mounting fasteners.
-
Inspect the pre-attached hardware extensions, ensuring the right-side NFC reader and bottom 2D Barcode scanner are secure and undamaged.
3. Mounting the Terminal
-
Lay the monitor face down on a clean, flat, and protected surface.
-
Align your VESA-compliant mount or stand with the rear holes of the monitor frame and secure it tightly using the provided M4 fasteners.
4. Cable Integration
-
Unscrew and remove the rear connection cover plate on the back of the monitor.
-
Insert the specialized locking USB-C connector into the Type-C power input, ensuring it clicks firmly into place, and then reinstall the cover plate tightly.
-
Connect the local RJ45 network cable into the monitor's dedicated NIC port.
5. Initial Power On
-
Connect the main AC power cord from the 180W adapter brick to your live facility power outlet.
-
Locate the physical Power Button on the right-rear side of the monitor frame (just above the power control light) and toggle it to boot the unit.
-
Verify that the system status indicator light transitions to a solid green color within approximately 2 seconds, signaling a successful hardware initialization.
