Overview
Ultra Charts is a Perspective visualization module. The Gateway and Designer scopes register the public chart types, while Perspective browser sessions render the configured chart from the view's properties and bindings.
The module does not operate a separate visualization server, data store, device connection, or external integration service.
Ignition Scope Distribution
Gateway Scope
The Gateway scope makes the active component types available to Perspective and supplies their browser assets. It also participates in the module lifecycle and the platform's license-state handling.
Designer Scope
The Designer scope adds the active chart components and presets to the Ultra Charts Perspective palette category. Designers configure the components using standard Perspective tools.
Perspective Session Scope
The Perspective browser session receives the configured component properties, renders the chart, and raises configured component events.
Client / Vision Scope
No Vision components or other module-specific client-scope functionality were identified.

Data Flow
Data remains under the control of the Perspective project. Ultra Charts renders the data it receives; it does not independently collect, persist, or transmit process data to external systems.
Lifecycle
When the module starts, the active chart components are made available to the Gateway, Designer, and Perspective browser session. When the module is shut down, the active registrations are removed.
Perspective project configuration is managed by normal Ignition project persistence. Browser interaction state, including temporary chart selections and Sankey drag positions, should not be treated as a module-owned durable record.
External Dependencies
Ultra Charts depends on Ignition Perspective and includes browser-side visualization libraries as part of the module package. No administrator-configured external service, database, device protocol, or additional network listener was identified.
