This standard operating procedure explains how to set up and reconfigure an FDSTA standalone device running Factory Device Operating System (FDOS). It is intended for operators, technicians, and support personnel who need a clear, repeatable process for initial configuration, server connection, localization, application installation, and later reconfiguration.

Procedure
Step 1 - Start the Setup Wizard
The setup begins from the welcome window of the Factory Device Setup wizard.

Step 2 - Configure Network Settings
Establish the device connection to the network using either a static IP address or DHCP.

Reconfiguration of the Device
Use this process when changes are needed after the initial setup.

Click the bottom-left corner of the screen to open the application menu.

Click the Reconfiguration icon.

Follow the same setup flow to update the required settings.
The setup can be accessed again later through the Reconfiguration application.
On-Screen Keyboard (OSK)
The on-screen keyboard can be opened at any time by clicking the keyboard icon.

When using the Vision Client application, use the Ignition OSK provided by the developer.

For other tasks, use the native operating system on-screen keyboard.
