Testing Functionality
For a controlled functional check:

Enroll a non-production test host.

Approve it and verify heartbeat and telemetry.

Create a narrowly scoped read-only test mapping.

Confirm file listing or reading.

Use a separate disposable mapping if write or delete behavior must be tested.

Test serial behavior only with a safe device and known communication settings.
-
Restart components only when the effect on live operations is understood.
